This is my first real landscape quilt, a breakthrough brought about by following a friend's advice to quit cutting my beautiful shibori fabric into little pieces. It captures a special moment, a fragile landscape. Summer memories of sky, water, beach grass, boardwalk, sand and shells. This simple beauty has an unavoidable ecological overtone.
