This is probably my most Japanese piece to date. The four panels are reminiscent of noren, the fabric signs that hang outside shops in Japan. The continuous landscape reminds me of landscape imagery on Asian scrolls or or screens. The depiction of weather elements were inspired by portraits of snow,clouds, rain and fog in Japanese prints
